In her manage2manage coaching package Clara focuses on coaching managers to become more effective at dealing with some of their daily challenges of managing people, themselves and their business.
Whether you have just been appointed to a management position or have years of experience, whether you are managing a team of one or have 100 people reporting to you, you will benefit from taking some time out to reflect on your management style, set measurable and achievable goals and make them happen.
The programme offers flexible modules on effective team-building, motivation, conflict management and delegation. You are free to complete any number of modules at your own pace and in any order. Each module works on a stand-alone basis or as part of the entire package.
The programme will enable you to gain clarity about yourself, your team and your current situation by using a series of customised diagnostic tools. In each module, this is followed by a structured goal-oriented programme that will kick-start your professional development plan and start delivering results straight away.
At every stage you will receive your coach's input and feedback in writing, enabling you to improve your managerial performance and ensuring you remain on the right track. If you wish to receive one-to-one support via the telephone you can upgrade your package at any time.
MODULES
Effective Team-building: the key to building a dream team is to understand the strengths and challenges of your individual team members. What roles would they naturally play and how can you play to their strengths? An assessment questionnaire determining team roles is followed by a goal-driven customised action plan.
Motivation: People work best when they are motivated, whether they are managing or being managed. We will determine what motivates you and your team. You will have the chance to step back and assess what really motivates you beneath the surface of your business requirements. You will then set your own goal and construct your personal action plan.
Conflict management: Does dealing with conflict fill you with dread? This is the place to understand how you naturally manage conflict, what the implications are and how to make the most of difficult behaviours and situations. After working through some diagnostic tools we will invite you to set a goal in this area and construct your personal action plan.
Delegation: Many managers find themselves constantly fire fighting rather than managing their team because they are reluctant to delegate tasks to their staff. Take a step back and consider to what extent and to what effect you delegate or not. What implications does this have? You will complete a number of questionnaires on this issue and are invited to think deeply about what you ultimately want to achieve as a manager. As with all other modules, you commit yourself to a specific goal and construct your action plan to achieve it!
